Gosaikunda is the divine place of Hindus, Bonpo and Buddhist. The region consists of several 108 holy lakes. The lake Gosainkunda lies at an altitude of 4,380m. Every year, thousands of pilgrims including Shamans from surrounding districts visit the lake area during the festival time of Janai Purnima. The major festival if Janai Purnima that occurs on the month of August. People believe that taking a dip into the holy water of the lake washes off their sins.

    Kathmandu to Dhunche (1,960m) – 7 hrs

    Dhunche to Sing Gompa (3,3335m) – 4 to 5 hours trek

    • The actual treks starts from Dhunche • Trek to uphill trail along the bamboo and oak forest, pass the village of Deurali and Dimsa and reach to Sing Gompa. • Sing Gompa has a very famous monastery and the place is known as religious place. • The trek offers the view of Langtang Himalayan ranges. • Overnight stay at Sing Gompa lodge.

    Sing Gompa to Gosaikunda (4380m) – 5/6 hrs trek

    • Today, you will pass the village of Chandanbari (3,330m) and Cholangpati (3,654m) and then to Laurebina (3,910m). • Chandanbari is famous for cheese factory. • You need to walk 2 hours steep walk from Lauribina to reach to Gosaikunda (4,380m). • Gosaikunda is the best place to observe and see the view of Langtang and Ganesh Himalayan ranges. • Overnight stay at Gosaikunda lodge.

    Gosaikunda to Ghopte (3,530m) – 7/8 hours

    • Trek to Lauribina Pass (4,610m), the highest point of the entire trek • It offers full of panoramic Mountain View. • The trail gradually descends down towards the village of Ghopte on passing a small settlement Phedi . • Overnight stay at Ghopte

    Ghopte to Kutumsang (2,470m) – 5/6 hours

    • Today you will continue and continue downhill trail whole day. • On the way, Mangengoth is a scattered human settlement. • The trek passes through lush green forest. • Overnight stay at Kutumsang

    Kutumsang to Chisapani (2,215m) – 4/5 hours walk

    • The trek goes down all the way to Chisapanim through the lush green forest of oak and rhododendron trees. • The trek will pass the village of Gul Bhanjyang, Thontundanda and Chipling. • Chisapani is an amazing hill station popularly known for spectacular sunrise view and fresh natural habitat. • Overnight stay at Chisapani. Day 08: Chisapani to Kathmandu – 4 hours trek and 40 minute drive • 4 hours downhill trek to Sundarijal. • The trek offers scenic beauty of Nature along the way of Shivapuri National park. • Drive back to Kathmandu from Sundarijal and shift to you hotel in Kathmandu.
