What to expect

Embark on a challenging day hike from Imlil, conquering the famous Adrar Talamroute peak (2,700m). After a 80minute scenic drive from Marrakesh, meet your guide in Imlil and Start your Trek.

Ascend through the Tamatert Valley, passing the Berber village of Ait Souka and crossing the Tizi n'Tamatert pass (2,280m). Traverse a fragrant pine forest and follow a clear ridge path to the majestic summit.

At the summit, revel in your accomplishment and soak in the spectacular panorama. Enjoy breathtaking, uninterrupted 360-degree views over the Imlil and Imenane valleys, with the towering peaks of the Toubkal Massif (including Mt. Toubkal, 4167m & Mt Timzguida 4089m..) dominating the skyline. See North Africa's highest village Tachdirt (2400m) below.

Descend back to Imlil for a hearty Berber lunch prepared by a local family before your comfortable return transfer to Marrakesh.

Note: Gentle trek ascent from 1,700m to 2,600m, with regular rest stops. Not difficult for most, but effort levels may vary.

Good walking shoes are essential. warm and layered clothing is highly recommended for cold and variable conditions rain or snow time. Everything can be arranged for a small fee if needed.
