Sidon, one1️⃣ Sidon (Saida) – Ancient Seaside City (Approx. 2 hours) Your first destination is the historic city of Sidon, one of the oldest Phoenician cities in the world.of the oldest Phoenician cities, was founded in the 3rd millennium BC and became prosperous in the 2nd. Sidon was famous for its purple dyes and glassware and Jesus visited it. During the Crusades, Sidon changed hands several times and was destroyed and rebuilt.
Sidon Sea Castle (30 min – Admission Included): Explore this 13th-century Crusader fortress built on a small island and connected to the shore by a narrow causeway. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea and Sidon’s old harbor.
Old Souks of Sidon (30 min): Wander through the lively traditional market, filled with spice shops, local crafts, and friendly merchants.
Soap Museum (30 min – Admission Included): Learn about Lebanon’s traditional olive-oil soap-making heritage in this beautifully restored 17th-century building.
Khan al-Franj (15 min): Visit this well-preserved 17th-century caravanserai, once a vital stop for traders and merchants.
2️⃣ Tyre (Sour) – UNESCO World Heritage City (Approx. 2 hours) Continue south along the scenic coastal road to Tyre, a city of ancient grandeur.
Tyre Hippodrome (Admission Included): Discover the ruins of one of the largest Roman hippodromes in the world. Walk among the impressive stone arches and columns that tell the story of Tyre’s glorious past.

Visit the Our Lady of Mantara Shrine, believed to be where the Virgin Mary waited for Jesus while He preached in Sidon and Tyre. The panoramic view from here offers a perfect ending to your day.
Return to Beirut After your visit to Maghdouche, sit back and relax on your drive back to Beirut, arriving around 5:00 PM.
