What to expect
Discover the biggest pottery and terracotta museum in Vietnam at the Thanh Ha Pottery Village in Hoi An. Walk through the narrow brick roads and alleys in this 500-year-old village. Stop at the old Xuan My Temple, which is important to the villagers’ beliefs.
Be welcomed by your guide at the Terracotta Park. Explore the park with your guide to uncover the Terracotta Gallery and Museum, the Thanh Ha Village Museum and History, and the unique Terracotta Mini Square.
Enjoy a break with a special coconut coffee or soft drink and special cookies. Tour Thanh Ha village to see the traditional making pottery process and visit local pottery house and villagers. Go to the Xuan My Community Temple and hear bout the history of this temple.
Have fun during a traditional pot breaking game. Make terracotta pottery with a simple pattern (this is not a professional pottery class). Try to make pottery with a potter’s help. You can decorate something on your own pottery and bring it home.
