Meeting and pickup
Morning Departure: Pickups from Cairns start from 7am and Palm Cove from 7:50am. Afternoon Departure: Pickups from Cairns start from 1pm and Palm Cove from 1:50pm. The "starting time" is NOT the same as the pickup time. Please keep an eye out for your check-in email, which should arrive 7 days prior to departure (or within) to reconfirm your pickup location & time. Discovery Tours Australia signage will be on the tour vehicle. Please be ready & waiting for your pickup 5 minutes before your advised pickup time. CAIRNS PICKUPS Please be ready at your designated pick-up point at the scheduled time. As we service multiple pick-ups in the Cairns CBD, we kindly ask guests to allow a 15 minute pick-up window. If your guide is not there right at the scheduled time, there’s no need to worry - they are on their way. We appreciate your patience and understanding. NORTHERN BEACHES / PORT DOUGLAS Please be ready at your designated pick-up location at the scheduled time. We kindly ask all guests to allow a 15 minute pick-up window, as travel times to the Northern Beaches from Cairns can vary depending on traffic and daily conditions. If your guide does not arrive exactly at the scheduled time, there’s no need to worry — they are on their way. We appreciate your patience and understanding. Barron Gorge National Park (Pass by)
Driving up the Kuranda Range and passing through the small village of Kuranda. Here we enjoy a short driving tour of the village, before continuing to the World Heritage listed Barron Gorge National Park. This is home to the famous Barron Falls, which makes for a great photo opportunity at the stunning Wrights lookout.

Finally, as our tour concludes, we head back towards Cairns via the Wet Tropics World Heritage drive on the Kuranda Range. We stop at the breathtaking Henry Ross lookout, before arriving in Cairns where you are returned to your accommodation.
