Spend a morning or afternoon exploring the spectacular scenery and rainforest surrounding Cairns. By 4WD vehicle you’ll explore the Barron Gorge National Park and Kuranda National Park. This tour is ideal for those with limited time and who want to escape the crowds. Traveling with a small group of no more than 13 participants ensures you’ll see some of Tropical North Queensland’s hidden gems with personalized attention from your expert guide. Morning tour only departs from Cairns and the afternoon tour departs from Cairns & The Northern Beaches.
The tour does not operate from Port Douglas, unless you can make your own way to Cairns.

Meeting and pickup
Morning Departure: Pickups from Cairns start from 7am Afternoon Departure: Pickups from Cairns start from 1pm The "starting time" is NOT the same as the pickup time. Please keep an eye out for your check-in email, which should arrive 7 days prior to departure (or within) to reconfirm your pickup location & time. Discovery Tours Australia signage will be on the tour vehicle. Please be ready & waiting for your pickup 5 minutes before your advised pickup time. As we service multiple pick-ups in the Cairns CBD, we kindly ask guests to allow a 15-minute pick-up window. If your guide is not there right at the scheduled time, there’s no need to worry - they are on their way.
