In Hanoi, street food is our life. There is a huge difference between the food here and the other cities in the world: you would know exactly the ingredients of the dish and the seller make it in front of you, it must be fresh and hot! That is the reason why we bring you to the local market, you will get a deeper understanding of the local lifestyle, how they go shopping preparing for their meal! You will be surprised at the market for sure!
When you travel to Hanoi, you will see many local people burn fake money on the street; every shop always has a small altar in front of the door; temples and pagodas are everywhere. All of those things make you so confused about what they are doing or what the meaning of it is. You might ask "is Vietnam a Buddhist country?" You will find out all the answers at this place! It should be really interesting!
Our lovely guide will give you this delicious banh mi at the beginning of the tour.

"The rice paper roll I had here was the best I've had. Super thin, silky smooth rice paper that wraps around the filling perfectly. I ordered the mushroom and pork filling and it was great. It is served with fried onions and a fish sauce, which adds more flavour and texture to this simple yet brilliant dish."- TripAdvisor review.
Unique experience!
Best Bia Hoi in Hanoi With beer street full of tiger and Heineken, this is the place to go for that bia hoi experience. Empty glasses refilled immediately for only 11,000 VND and the most delicious pork ribs. Pull up on one of the little blue plastic stools, you won't regret it!
Bun bo Nam Bo is marinating the beef, then comes making 'nuoc cham' and the pickled vegetables (shredded carrot and papaya). The pickled veggies is crispy, a little sour and a little sweet, which even makes me eat two bowls of the noodle at once. Remember to pickle the carrot (and papaya first, before marinating the beef) since it takes at least 1 hour to get a good flavour on the carrot.
Best Bun Cha in town Great place and friendly people. They make a really good Bun Cha. Serving is super quick and the meat is good. Can highly recommend coming here.
Lake overlook. This beautiful cafe might be a little hard to find, but once there it’s worth it. Order downstairs and make your way up the stairs. The first level is a gorgeous section overlooking the courtyard that feels as if you’re in another world. Head up more stairs, but skip level 3 and go up the spiral staircase to level 4 for beautiful views of Lake Hoan Kiem. Try the iced yogurt coffee or one of the teas, relax and enjoy the view.
