    The visit to the Medina immerses you in a maze dating from the Middle Ages and combines the pleasures of shopping and discovery of the heritage. The ornate Bab Boujloud gateway guides you on an itinerary rich in monuments: Medersa Bou Inania, Zaouïa Tijani, souks, Zaouïa de Moulay Idris, the former Dar Batha palace, Bab Boujloud, Nejjarine Museum, the Royal Palace, the Andalusian Mosque, the Quarawiyin Mosque, the Jewish quarter, tanneries, potters' quarter, ... Fez is renowned for its craftsmanship which the Medina will give you a more than introductory overview, in you initiating carpentry and Moroccan embroidery through the sculptures and silks made in in the small stalls surrounding the Quarawiyin mosque.
