Tirta Empul or holy spring water temple is one of the oldest temple in Bali found in 969. This temple has function to do purification ritual or water blessing with the water which run to number of fountains in side of pond. Here we also able to see the holy spring. This spring has been designated a Unesco site as the source of an ancient irrigation system.

Pura goa Gajah literally means Elephant Cave Temple, It does not mean that there are real elephant that live or have live there. The name of Goa Gajah comes from Lawa Gajah which is mentioned in manuscript found at the site. This temple complex was first built around 11th century based on inscriptions found at this side.
