pickup is available for all hotels in the Chiang Mai Town area, with times: 8:00 am–8:30 am (morning/full-day) and 1:00 pm–1:30 pm (afternoon). The operator will confirm the exact time via email; please recheck it. Meet the driver in your lobby at least 10 minutes early. Arriving 10+ minutes late or after the car departs may be considered a no-show.

What to expect
The lake is stocked with a powerful giant catfish that always ready to put up a fight. Most catches average around 5–25 kg, and there’s always that extra thrill of possibly hooking a true heavyweight Mekong Giant Catfish, sometimes reaching up to 40 kg.
With or without experience, you’re warmly welcome. A full gear set—rod, reel, bait, and all equipment—is provided, and an experienced fishing trainer is on hand to demonstrate techniques, help you set up, and share practical tips, so you can fish confidently and enjoy every moment on the water.
