Meeting and pickup
Please travel to Studio Chiang Dao Blue on your own and arrive by 10:00 a.m. From Chang Phueak Bus Terminal, take a bus marked “Chiangmai-Thaton” or a van/songthaew marked “Chiangmai-Fang” to Chiang Dao Bus Station. Pickup from there is available on request for an extra charge.
What to expect
Choose your pre-booked workshop: H1 includes one T-shirt and one bandana, while H2 includes one shawl and one bandana. Follow guidance as you prepare the fabric, fold or tie it to create patterns, and dip it into natural indigo. Learn how each technique shapes the result before unfolding your fabric to reveal the design.
The private format allows you to enjoy the activity with your own party while receiving focused guidance throughout the session. It is suitable for beginners, families, couples, solo travelers, and groups looking for a creative way to connect with Chiang Dao’s local culture.
The activity ends at the workshop venue in Chiang Dao. Take home two handmade indigo pieces that reflect your own work while supporting local skills, sustainable practices, and the continuation of northern Thailand’s dyeing traditions.

- Workshop items cannot be changed on the activity date. Any change request must be made in advance and is subject to availability and operator approval.
