Many tours in Munich cover the rise of the Nazis and the atrocities carried out by the regime. This tour focuses on ordinary Germans who did not so easily submit to the tyranny of the regime. The White Rose, Georg Elser, Hans Beimler and Rupert Mayer are names that Germans today are familiar with but for visitors they may be unknown. What's Included
Meeting and pickup
In front of the Tourist Information Centre on the Marienplatz square. Guide will have a white placard with Alun Evans Tours on it.
The tour ends a 10 minute walk from Munich main station on the square where the Nazis used to conduct their celebrations. Also very conveniently next to the documentation centre of National Socialism, which is excellent to finish the day if you choose.
