This is 4 days (3 nights) tour throughout which guests will spend two nights in Kakheti region, one night in Kazbegi and will visit the ancient capital of Mtskheta on the way back from Kazbegi.
During the tour guests will see Georgian places of interest, get the information about history & culture, try Georgian food specialties & awesome wines as well as participate in masterclasses of famous Georgian dishes.
Kakheti, Kazbegi and Mtskheta are all must visit places. Kakheti is the main wine making region of the country and is famous for awesome food & wine and beautiful views on Alazani valley and the Greater Caucasus mountain range. Kazbegi is a little town in the Northern part of Georgia, close to the border with Russia. It is famous for awesome views on 5000 meters high Mount Kazbegi and Gergeti Trinity Church as well as for the dish named Khinkali (dumpling). Mtskheta is an ancient Georgian capital with two Unesco World Heritage sites and small, high quality wineries nearby.
Guests will be picked up in Tbilisi from any location including hotels, hostels and apartments. If guests would like to be picked up somewhere else the tour should be customized.

Visit Lavra monastery the most important part of David Gareja complex and have a walk through the rainbow mountains.
Stop for lunch at Wineria Kakheti.
Badiauri is a village with many bakeries where bread is being baked with the traditional method in a special oven. Guests will bake bread themselves and will try it with local cheese.
Bodbe is a beautiful monastery from where beautiful views on Alazani valley open up.
Sighnaghi is a small, beautiful town where guests will try wine and have dinner.
Guests will have a beautiful morning walk in Sighnaghi.
Khareba wine tunnel is a must visit place. It is the biggest wine tunnel in the Caucasus and its structure is fascinating. The temperature inside the tunnel is constantly 16 degrees Celsius. The humidity and constant temperature inside the tunnel create best conditions for wine ageing.
Gremi village once used to be the center of Kakheti region. The monastery has beautiful frescoes and the view from the citadel is nice.
Lagazi wine cellar is a very nice winery located in Kakheti region. Lunch and wine are included.
Tsinandali estate consists of a small palace and a huge botanical garden. Both the palace and the garden are very beautiful and it is a must see place.
Gia Togonidze produces very high quality wines while his wife is a perfect chef and the blend of good wine, good food and very good people creates special atmosphere in their home. Guests will spend the evening in this winery.
Ananuri is a late medieval fortress with two beautiful churches and an awesome view on Jhinvali reservoir.
Gudauri is a beautiful ski resort on the way to Kazbegi. If the ski lifts are open guests will be able to take a ride and enjoy the beautiful views.
View from the so called "Friendship" monument is awesome. There the guests will get the information why the monument is called the "friendship" one and will hear all the details regarding it.
Tsanareti is a very good restaurant on the way to Kazbegi/Stepantsminda in the village of Arsha. In the restaurant guests will try local food specialties.
Gergeti Trinity Church is a 14th century monastery with the background of 5000 meter high Mount Kazbegi. The church is a very important religious and cultural monument while the views from there are breathtaking.
Gveleti waterfalls are located on the way to the Georgian-Russian border near the village of Gveleti. Both waterfalls are beautiful and in both cases a small hike is necessary to reach them.
Guests will visit Georgian-Russian border located in Dariali gorge.
In the evening guests will have a masterclass of famous Georgian dish Khinkali (dumpling) in a local family. Guests will cook Georgian dumplings themselves with the help of a chef sure and later will try them. Moreover, they will try other local food specialties as well cooked in a local family.
Guests will stop at one of the viewpoints of Zhinvali reservoir to take photos and enjoy the view.
Lunch on the last day will be done at Chateau Mukhrani winery.
7th century Jvari monastery is a Unesco World Heritage site located in Mtskheta. The location of the monastery is awesome owing to the fact that it is located high on the hill, overlooks the old part of Mtskheta and it is possible to see the beautiful confluence of two rivers from there.
11th century Svetitskhoveli Cathedral is also a Unesco World Heritage site located in Mtskheta. It is one of the most beautiful cathedrals in Georgia and is a must see place.
