During the first day of your trip, we will not find you at the port or at the airport and will cross the Rif mountains and the city of Tetoun to enjoy the view of the beautiful mountains until we arrive at Chefchaouen, one of the impressive villages on the feet. From the mountains of the Rif Medina, Chefchaouen had a Spanish-style square surrounded by many funky shops and craft shops, the rooftop - the best restaurants and cafes, where you will have lunch before continuing your way to Fez, where we will spend at night a riad.
This itinerary includes a breakfast and lunch, followed by a journey through the Middle Atlas mountains, cedar forests, Tizi Ntalghamt pass, and Ziz Valley gorges. The journey includes stops at Errachidia, Erfoud, Rissani, and Merzouga. After lunch, the group takes a camel ride to a Berber camp in the Erg Chebbi dunes, the highest sand dunes in North Africa. The camp is equipped with mattresses, blankets, and cushions. After dinner, the group gathers around a fire to enjoy traditional Berber drums under the stars.
We will get up early to enjoy a magnificent sunrise on the dunes and then take a camel ride back to the hotel. After cooling off and breakfast we will leave for Tinghir and the Todra Gorges and finally we arrive in the Dades Valley, where we will have dinner and spend the night.
After breakfast, we will cross the Dades Valley towards Kalaat Mgouna and Ouarzazate. The visit of the Dades Valley, the thousand kasbah trail, offers many opportunities to take pictures. We will visit the valley of roses and the village of Skoura, then continue to Ouarzazate, "the Hollywood of Africa". Lunch is at the famous kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. After visiting this UNESCO World Heritage Site, our journey will continue along the majestic Tizi Ntichka Pass, which rises to an altitude of 2260m above the High Atlas Mountains. We will make a stop to enjoy the breathtaking views and visit the argan oil cooperative. We will arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon.
