This private Day Excursion offers the chance to experience something of the Berber way of life as you walk through Berber villages and have lunch with a Berber family in their home. You walk along traditional mule tracks through small villages and admire the scenery of the Atlas mountains, including views up towards Toubkal. Typically 5 to 6 hours walking.
Pick up is from your hotel in Marrakech around 9.00 for transfer to Imlil. We do not stop at stalls or shops unless, of course, you wish us to.
On arrival in Imlil, you are welcomed with mint tea and introduced to your guide. He will discuss with you your interests, the time you have available and your level of fitness. As your Day Excursion is private we can adapt the excursion to some extent to suit you.
Our price includes an extra mule if there are children (or child) in the group, in case they wish to ride or get tired. We can also arrange an extra mule for adult only groups on request.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
We pick up from and return to your hotel or riad in Marrakech. Pick up is around 9am and return is late afternoon. If you are staying inside the Medina, your pick up and return will be the closest point accessible to our vehicle. If you prefer we can pick up and return to the airport (extra charge of 20 euros per group). If you are staying on the outskirts of Marrakech, there may be an extra pick-up charge, of around 20 euros per group.
