The palazzo of Baron Pasquale Revoltella - an important personality of the city. The banker promoted the economic and cultural development of Trieste in the 19th century and was instrumental in financing the Suez Canal. He bequeathed his entire fortune to the city of Trieste. His palace in the city center was considered a competitor to the Miramare Castle during his lifetime and after his death it became a museum in which his private apartments can be visited on the one hand - and next door the gallery for modern art he founded. I would be happy to show you around the rooms of the magnificent apartment of Baron Revoltella - and then you have the opportunity to visit one of the most important galleries in Italy individually. If you need any other kind of information or help with your arrival or at any other time, you can always contact me
