Our Old Frascati Farmhouse & tasting room embodies the atmosphere of the frascette with local snacks and wines in the middle of a Roman vineyard.
You'll be met at the vineyard with snacks and a house wine ready to start the tour immediately. First, you'll have a walking tour of the vines to see stunning views of the Roman countryside. At the farmhouse, you will try 3 amazing local wines from the winery next door along with local snacks and salumi.
The location of our farmhouse makes it accessible directly from the train station without the need for other transportation. Because we are reachable by train (and a 5-minute walk) it's the most sustainable wine tour in the area.
On Sundays it will be necessary to come by car as there is a very limited train schedule on this day.

***FROM AUGUST 5TH THROUGH SEPTEMBER 12TH THERE IS NO DIRECT TRAIN TO OUR LOCATION** Please follow directions in our email or reach out to us. We will setup a shuttle from Frascati for an additional transit cost, or you can meet us directly in our location by taxi or car.
What to expect
Our Backpackers Wine Tasting Tour takes place in beautiful Roman wine country just a 15-minute train ride from the center of Rome.
It is available every day from 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM and includes a tour of the vineyard
followed by a wine tasting with three (3) local Frascati wines paired with local snacks.
On Sundays it will be necessary to come directly by car, there is a very limited train schedule on Sundays.
