From there, continue to Montevideo, Uruguay’s vibrant capital and regional hub. Pick up at centrally located hotels in Buenos Aires.
A great adventure awaits you! We will pick you up early, around 7:00 am, our driver picks you up from your hotel/Airbnb and takes you to Buenos Aires ferry station. After going through customs (note that passports are required) you board the ferry for a comfortable and pleasant 1 hours ride across the “Rio Plata” that separates Argentina from Uruguay.
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your local guide and embark on a walking tour of the city’s most iconic landmarks for a 2-hour stroll. As you visit each of the city's emblematic sites, your passionate local guide will take you on a journey through time, sharing live commentary full of information you won’t find in any book or travel guide. You will have free time for lunch (lunch not included)
Later, we'll head to the capital of Uruguay, Montevideo. During the approximately 2-hour drive, you'll enjoy beautiful scenery until you reach your accommodation. Overnight in Montevideo
In the morning, enjoy a delicious breakfast included at your hotel. You will have free time to explore the city on your own and have lunch (lunch not included).
Around 1:30 PM, your guide will pick you up at the hotel and you embark on a tour of the city’s highlights. In three fun-filled and exciting hours you discover the city’s unique atmosphere that combines Latin American and European cultural influences. Admire the impressive colonial architecture at the city’s Old District and Independence Square, be blown away by the intricate architecture of Uruguay’s tallest building, drive by the promenade enjoying fantastic views of the city’s sandy beaches and stop at an Agricultural Market to learn about traditional Uruguayan products. Later, your guide will take you to the ferry terminal for your return to Buenos Aires.
Arrival in Buenos Aires will be around 10:00 PM, where another driver will be waiting to safely take you to your hotel
