The land becomes more dramatic as we reach the escarpment of the Great Rift Valley. We will stop en route to refresh ourselves and view the impressive features of the escarpment. We will then head into the valley, exploring the scenic features of Masai land and perhaps catching a glimpse of the colorful herder as we approach the reserve. We should arrive in the Masai Mara around midday, which we will enjoy at our chosen accommodation. In the Evening you can relax at the hotel and may get to a nearby Masai Village for a cultural trip. or opt to go to the park for a 2 Hours Safari drive. This Park is unique in its diversity of wildlife. Large and small hunters and grazers populate the sprawling hills and savanna of the beautiful park. Return for Dinner and overnight.
We will rise early to observe the park's abundant wildlife, reputed to be the most dense of any park in the region. This will be a day of unlimited game drives across the golden fields and past the striking acacia trees that adorn these plains. will have a picnic Lunch. Look out for Africa's Big Five - lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino. Birdlife is also abundant and should you be here during the Great Bird Migration period (July - October), prepare to witness the largest animal movement on the planet. The migratory animals, mainly wildebeest and zebra, come into the park in their thousands along the Mara River, where hippos and crocodiles also await. The potential drama here is inevitable as the streaming herds invade this land in search of fresh grass while the predators lie in wait. To make your Masai Mara experience even richer, you can enjoy an optional visit to one of the local villages. There you will meet the Maasai people and experience their lifestyle up close.

We will enjoy one last drive through the Park as we leave the park on the way back to Nairobi. A lunch break breaks up the drive back to the city. We should arrive back in Nairobi in the late afternoon and drop you off at your hotel, residence or the airport.
