A primeira parte do percurso consiste num misto de vegetação endémica e introduzida após a descoberta da ilha. Você pode ver várias perspetiva da aldeia à distância. Na segunda parte, o percurso penetra no interior da ilha, que ainda permanece a mesma desde antes da sua descoberta, há mais de cinco séculos. Neste percurso encontra a flora e fauna naturais da Madeira, que incluem louro, urze, tentilhão, entre muitos, muitos outros.
