Take in the beautiful surroundings of Morwenstow, North Cornwall with a local guide who was born and raised here. Our route takes us to some of the South west's most remote, wild and spectacular places - all linked together on sleepy country lanes with very little traffic. This area is extremely beautiful but can be hilly, and this is where the electric bikes come into their own.
Our route will last 2.5-3 hours and will take us on some lovely roads out to the cliffs, with a tea rooms and local pub along the way if you fancy a refreshment. To get access to some of the most interesting places (for example a shipwreck-wood cabin built into the cliff face in the 1800's) we will park the bikes and go on foot for 15 minutes, so please be aware bring shoes you are comfortable walking in too.
Please note a good level of fitness is still required to operate the bikes and walk out to the cliffs. The bikes have a max rider weight limit of 120kg.
Go to the village of Woolley, postcode EX23 9PP. Drive the road towards Woolley and eventually you will come to a big triangle of grass and a fork in the road. The meeting point is a white garage straight across the green, in between two houses. You can park on the grass opposite.
An amazing cabin built out of shipwreck wood by our eccentric vicar in 1843. With amazing views out to the wild coastline too!
Lovely ancient church at the end of the road in Morwenstow, with lots of fascinating history within and in the churchyard. Just a 5 minute walk from the towering cliffs of Morwenstow
