First, your guide will meet you at the Colosseum, the impressive arena which is the largest amphitheatre of the ancient world. With a capacity of more than 50,000 spectators and having 80 entrances, the Colosseum was truly a wonder of its time.
After the Colosseum, you will visit the Baths of Titus, at the base of the Esquiline Hill. They were built by the emperor Titus in 81 AD and they were used as a standard designed for other thermal bathing complexes.
Next you will stop at the Baths of Trajan, a huge thermal and leisure complex located on the southern side of the Oppian Hill dedicated under Trajan in 109AD
Then, you will climb up to arrive to St. Peter in chains church . It is a minor basilica built to house the relics of the chains used to imprison st. Peter in Jerusalem. Here you will have the opportunity to admire the beautiful "Moses" statue by MIchelangelo. You will also see and enjoy the external gardens of the church.
