Edderton & Balblair Distillery – Scenic downhill drive through a quaint village past a working whisky distillery.
Dornoch Town – Cobbled streets, artisan shops, and the Dornoch Bookshop. Historic seat of the Earls of Sutherland, first recorded as a stronghold in 1401.
Dornoch Cathedral – 13th-century cathedral with ancient stonework and stained glass, restored by the Duke of Sutherland.
Dornoch Castle Hotel – Optional refreshment stop in a 15th-century former bishop’s residence, with Highland produce, fresh salmon, venison, and one of the north’s best whisky bars.
Davochfin Farm – Meet Dorothy, Edith, Rhona & Minnie — friendly young Highland cows — plus rare Valais breed sheep.
