This is a special cycling tour which helps you feel the genuine Kyoto and the local vibes. We will be following cycling routes which were carefully selected by experienced staff at Kyoto's largest bicycle rental company, serving about 30,000 people a year.
Our aim is to raise awareness of the brilliance of riding a bicycle in the beautiful Kyoto. Bicycle rides help us find the hidden beauty of Kyoto that most tourists are likely to overlook and we hope this tour helps you see things you are not able to see when you take public transport like subways, buses, and taxis.

Nijō Castle (Pass by)
We will make a quick stop at the iconic Nijo Castle for photo opportunities.

We will be riding through the famous geisha district, Kamishichiken street on our way to our first destination.

1Kinkakuji Temple
Our first destination is the popular Kinkakuji Temple, which has the iconic Golden Pavillion in its property. We will be spending about 40 mins at the site for photos and our guide's explation about the history of the temple.

Daitoku-ji Temple (Pass by)
We will be riding through the the huge Daitokuji Temple on the way to our next destination. You can actually ride a bicycle at the property of this temple, which is something you cannot ususally experience!

2Kamogawa River
Our next destination is Kamo River, the most famous river in Kyoto and you can bike along the river on our way to the final destination.

3Shimogamo Shrine
Our final destination is the popular Shimogamo-Jinja Shrine and we will spend there for 20 minutes to explore the shrine.

Kyoto Imperial Palace (Pass by)
We will be riding though the iconic Kyoto Imperial Palace on our way back to the shop. As well as Daitokuji Temple, you can actually ride a bicycle at the property of the palace.
