Traveling from Arenal to Silencio Lodge will take around 3 hours, our driver will practice spanish with you during all the trip. Maybe if we are lucky there will be a lot animals to see during the trip. A stop of 1 hour is included in the service, this is why we will going to visit a souver shop store looking for something orinal from Costa Rica. Just couple minutes before we will be arriving to Bajos del Toro, our driver will give you a quickly city tour to show you the most iconic history places . At the end, you will spent a very nice day learning more about this beutiful country.

When you book a private transport you will be able to choose between several travel options. The first option will be the economic one, so that you can save money since we use a Hyundai Staria van. But if you travel with a lot of luggage and want something more comfortable, we recommend the comfortable option, the vehicle used for this type of transport is a Toyota Hiace High Roofvan. Finally you will find the type of trip for groups, this transport is carried out in a Toyota Coaster vehicle with a capacity of up to 15 passengers.

What to expect

Enjoy a comfortable 4-hours trip from the amazing Arenal Volcano to Bajos del Toro, just at the hills Poas Volcano. When you book a private transport you will be able to choose the departure time, as well as a 1 hour wait in case you wish to make a stop to eat or buy things in a souvenir. That is why our drivers will meet you at the hotel, in uniform and asking at front desk for your name, and deliver you safely to your hotel at El Silencio Lodge.
