In January the magical blue light surrounds us and we and can admire the magical landscape in that special winter light. In February we start to get more sunlight and in March is spring winter time. Then we have long days, sun, snow and even more snow. Full moon tours or norhern light tours in the middle of the night are our favourites!

Your guide will contact you to arrange a pick-up location. Pick-up within 3 km of Ruka Village or Kuusamo town center is included.

Turn from Patoniementie road to Riisitunturintie Road following the road signs to the national park. The large parking area is in the end of the road. We will meet you there in front of the info sign.

The duration of the excursion is 2.5–4 hours plus transfers, depending on your preferences and the weather. Sometimes, the exceptionally beautiful landscapes inspire us to linger a little longer on Riisitunturi.

The route includes a stop where you’ll enjoy a traditional Finnish trail meal by a campfire. Whether you're a seasoned adventurer or a first-time snowshoer, this experience is designed to suit all skill levels. A small group (max 8 people) ensures that everyone has an amazing adventure tailored just for them.
