Why just look around if you can look and understand??
So that you don’t leave Ronda feeling disappointed, hire a licensed local tour guide to enhance your visit.
I will show you around and bring your tour to life by explaining the most outstanding aspects of the local history, art, and culture of this truly unique, beautiful Andalusian town.
Do not hesitate and give yourself what you deserve!
I started working as an official Guide in 1997, two years after graduating in Tourism, and I'm still working on it.
I have the privilege of dedicating myself to a profession that I love and for which I have true respect and authentic passion. I enjoy every group, every explanation, every question, every step...
I also had the incredible experience of guiding people as important as the First Lady of the United States, Michelle Obama, also the First Lady of Panama and the First Lady of Mozambique, the Princess Desiré de Hohenlohe, Rick Steves, two ambassadors of the USA to Spain, amongst others.
Please, get in contact, at least, the day before our tour of Ronda to talk about the details.
Meeting point: at the statue of the bull, outside the bullring of Ronda.
The New Bridge of Ronda is the universal symbol of this town and absolutely unique. Neoclassical building finished in 1793.
The bullring of Ronda is the cradle of bullfighting on foot. Oldest bullring in the world still in use (1785). Neoclassical building made of stone. Entrance ticket not included. Optional.
The house of Don Bosco is one of the best houses in the old-town (19th century). Its visit is absolutely recommended. Beautiful paradise gardens just by the gorge. You can take a wonderful picture of the New Bridge from here. Entrance tickets not included. Optional.
The main church of Ronda, for the Rondans our "Cathedral". Two churches (Gothic and Renaissance), in the same building. If you can climb around 100 steps, you will enjoy the amazing views over the town from the upper gallery (see my pic with Rick Steves). Entrance tickets not included. Optional.
Our Arab baths (13th century), are the best preserved in Spain. Divided in 4 different rooms and with a small tower for the water wheel. Interesting to visit (only if you have good legs since they are situated at the bottom of a slope). Tickets not included. Optional.
