Next, we’re off to Cawdor Castle, steeped in legend about a donkey and a mysterious dream that chose its very spot. As you wander through its storied halls, you’ll feel a wee tingle of wonder being in such a remarkable place. Then, say hello to Scotlands' favourite four-legged locals - the hairy coo! Take a stroll through the ancient Scots Pine Forest, where you can admire Scotland’s rare native trees standing tall. After all that exploring, it’s time for a bite in the lively town of Aviemore - perfect for a good lunch and a bit of banter! Our next stop takes us into the breathtaking Cairngorms National Park, where jaw-dropping scenery awaits and, if we’re lucky, a glimpse of local wildlife. We’ll wrap up our adventure at Rothiemurchus Farm Shop, where you can treat yourself to some scrumptious local goodies.

Kick off your adventure at the ancient Clava Cairns known from the hit series Outlander, one of Scotland’s most stunningly preserved Bronze Age burial sites. You’ll be blown away by the mystery and history surrounding these impressive stones - truly a bonnie start to your journey!

2Cawdor Castle
Next, we’re off to the legendary Cawdor Castle, a place steeped in history and filled with tales that’ll make your hair stand on end! Explore the grand halls and lose yourself in the beautifully landscaped gardens, where every corner whispers secrets of the past. You’ll be chuffed to bits by its charm!

After that, it’s time for a leisurely wander through the ancient Scots Pine Forest, a true treasure trove of Scotland’s rare and majestic trees, once covering bonnie Scotland like a blanket. Breathe in the fresh air and take in the breathtaking surroundings - nature at its finest!

We’ll then take a break for a bite in the lively town of Aviemore, a perfect spot to soak up the local atmosphere and enjoy some scran. Whether it’s a hearty meal or a cheeky treat, you’ll be well-fuelled for the adventures ahead!

Our journey continues through the jaw-dropping landscapes of Cairngorms National Park. We’ll take a leisurely stroll along the sparkling shores of Loch Morlich, where you can soak in the stunning views of the surrounding mountains and lush forests. Feel the soft sand beneath your feet as you wander along the beach, or grab a seat and simply bask in the natural beauty. Keep your eyes peeled for wildlife, as you’ll be surrounded by some of the most spectacular scenery Scotland has to offer!

Finally, we’ll wrap up the day with a visit to Rothiemurchus Farm Shop, where you can indulge in a wee sampling of delightful local goodies. Treat yourself to some tasty treats and take a bit of Scotland home with you!
