We will start by visiting Wong Tai Sin Temple, a vibrant Taoist temple where we will observe rituals and offerings from the community, and we will have the opportunity to make requests and consult astrologers. Then, we will enjoy the peace and exquisite design of the Nan Lian Garden, a true oasis of tranquility in the middle of the city. We will explore the Chi Lin Buddhist Convent, an architectural complex of temples and wooden pagodas without nails, surrounded by gardens. We will also learn about the history of the Walled City of Kowloon, a place that was once marked by crime, now turned into a park. In addition, we will discover the local markets, immersing ourselves in the symbolism of fish, the aromas of flowers and the charming tradition of bird walking, while learning to negotiate in the women’s market. Finally, we will take a double-decker bus to Nathan Road and arrive at Avenue of Stars, an iconic boardwalk ideal for capturing photos.
