    Day 1: On our first day we will drive from Addis Ababa to Arba Minch. During the drive, we will stop for lunch for local cuisine, as well as stopping at various scenic locations for pictures. Late in the afternoon, we will drive high into the mountains to Chencha to visit the Dorze people. They are known for their weaving culture which is reflected in their beautiful cotton clothes, fences, and beehive-shaped bamboo huts. Here you will learn their traditions, visit their houses and experience their daily lifestyle. You will get to see the process behind the food and alcohol production from the famous banana trees and leaves. Overnight in Arba Minch

    Arba Minch to Jinka

    Day 2: After an early breakfast we will drive to the Konso Village (UNESCO site) to visit the Konso people and their terrace. The Konso Village is fascinating to experience as you drive high into the hills and view their elaborate security constructions, wooden constructions, and unique pole erections. After the Konso Village, we will have a short lunch and continue the drive on to Jinka, with a stop at a Konso market. Overnight in Jinka.

    Day 3: We will drive to Mago National Park and visit the Mursi tribe. They are renowned for their unique custom followed by their women who on reaching maturity have their lower lips slit and circular disks (lip plates) inserted. This is one of our client’s favorite visits, so be well-rested and excited. In the afternoon we will drive to Turmi. Along the way, we will visit the Bena and Hamar tribes. Overnight in Turmi.

    Day 4: In the morning after breakfast we will drive to the Karo Tribe’s village of Korcho located by a panoramic view of the Omo River. The Karo are fascinating and are eager to display and show off their face and body paintings and elaborate body decorations.     Day 5: After another early morning breakfast we will drive towards the Kenyan border to visit the Dassanech tribe. Here you will learn about their hunting and farming lifestyle, as well as getting to visit their unique villages and learning about the construction behind them. The Dassenech are known for their dancing and you will hopefully get to see it. After the visit, we will drive back to Arba Minch. Overnight in Arba Minch.

    Arba Minch to Hawassa

    Day 6: After breakfast, we will have one of the most interesting bot trips in Ethiopia. We will have a bot trip lake chamo this is the second biggest lake in Ethiopia. We will have a boat trip to this lake to see the biggest crocodiles in Africa, as well as hippos, multiple kinds of birds, and monkeys. After the boat trip, we will drive to Hawasa in the afternoon. From there we will walk around Hawasa Lake’s shoreline. Over night Hawasa

    Day 7: After breakfast, we will visit one of the unique markets in Hawasa, nicknamed the Fish Market. This is a nice opportunity to see how locals sell and prepare fish, as well as offering the chance to meet different fishermen.
