    Duration: 5 Days Departure Time: 9:35, 16:45 Transfer to Rurrenabaque Today, at the scheduled time, you will be picked-up from your hotel and transferred to the airport to take the flight to Rurrenabaque. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel.

    Rurrenabaque - Madidi National Park, Bolivia

    Madidi National Park

    Transfer to Madidi National Park, visit to a local community and afternoon walking tour (B/L/D) Hrs. 08:30am Pick-up from the hotel. Today we will take a boat trip that lasts 3 hours, enjoying spectacular views of the Beni and Tuichi rivers before entering the Madidi National Park. We will arrive at our ecolodge around 11:30am and will have a refreshing glass of fruit juice and take a rest. After lunch, we will walk along the trail named "dry creek" where we will see a variety of plants and learn about their many uses. They provide us our medicines, craft and construction materials. With a little luck we will see some species of monkeys, peccaries, birds and many insects. After dinner we can relax.

    Madidi National Park

    Hike to Cliff of the Macaws and raft building (B/L/D) Hrs. 08:00am we will take a walk to the Cliff of the Macaws, one of the best places in Madidi National Park to watch macaws, parrots and other birds. The walk is moderately hard and on the way we will see huge trees and learn more about their uses. At the Cliff of the Macaws you can not only watch the birds but can also enjoy the breath-taking view of the Amazon Basin and its many rivers. Around hrs. 10:30am we will go to the Tuichi River and will be able to build a log raft (traditional transport of the Amazonian Indians) and go downstream for about 2 hours until we reach the ecolodge. We will have the boat for security, for our backpacks and for those who do not wish to participate in this activity. Free afternoon to take a rest. You can also choose an activity, for example, you may want to make traditional handicrafts or go fishing.

    Madidi National Park - Pampas, Bolivia

    Wildlife spotting and boat trip (B/L/D) After breakfast, we will return to Rurrenabaque. Around hrs. 09:00am, we will leave for Santa Rosa. We will travel in a comfortable vehicle equipped with seat belts and A/C. Leaving at this time we have great opportunities to see sloths, anteaters, birds, and other animals along the road. Hrs. 11:30 we will take a boat for 15 minutes to our eco-lodge, “The Turtles” where you will be welcome with a cold juice of fruit of the season and we will have lunch. Hrs. 14:30 we will go for a boat trip and look for the pink dolphins, and may be able to swim with them. During the boat trip we will be able to see birds, turtles, alligators and other animals, depending on the season.

    Pampas - Rurrenabaque - La Paz, Bolivia

    Morning walking tour and transfer back to Rurrenabaque and La Paz (B/L) Today, at 08:30 hrs, we will take a short walk in the pampas to look for the impressive anaconda (depending on the season). After lunch, we will return to Rurrenabaque and will be transferred to the airport to take the flight back to La Paz where this amazing adventure will come to an end.
