Day 1
Johannesburg airport pick-up – Kruger Park (D)

Kruger National Park
Today you will be picked up at a pre-determined meeting point or Johannesburg airport. Travel for about 6 hours through the Highveld and Lowveld areas and admire the wide-open African bush and scenic landscapes. We will make a stop for lunch (not included) before reaching Kruger National Park in the afternoon. Get settled in your accommodation and then grab your camera for your first game drive around sunset. A shared sunset game drive will allow you the chance to see nocturnal animals with a Kruger Park ranger in a Kruger vehicle. This game drive is shared and there will be other guests on the drive. Return to camp for a three-course meal under the stars served with a glass of wine. If you prefer alternative snacks or drinks, you can purchase them at the camp store. Get a good night’s rest and recharge your batteries for an exciting day ahead!

Day 2
Full Day Game Drive at Kruger National Park (B/D)

This morning you will enjoy coffee/tea and rusks before departing on a full day of game viewing in the Kruger National Park (Skukuza area). A packed breakfast is included. Game drives are in small groups in specially modified open sided land cruisers. The Skukuza area is rich in wildlife and the elevated height of the 4×4 open sided vehicle makes for excellent viewing and photographic opportunities. You’ll enjoy lunch at one of the park’s restaurants (not included). After lunch, we start the afternoon game drive in the Kruger National Park. During these game drives, you’ll see a wide variety of wildlife and have plenty of photographic opportunities. After our tour, we’ll make our way to back to our lodge or camp. Dinner and overnight.

Day 3
Full Day Panorama Route tour (B/D)

Today you will go on a tour of the Panorama Route. You will depart on this 8-hour scenic excursion just after a scrumptious full-course breakfast. Scenic stops along the Panorama Route include: God’s Window The Pinnacle Bourke’s Luck Potholes Blyde River Canyon Wonderview Three Rondawels Graskop and Pilgrim’s Rest At least 1 of the following waterfalls: Lisbon Falls, Mac-Mac Falls, Lone creek Falls. (Depends on time of year and rainfall) Lunch at Harries pancakes (not included). You'll return to camp around 4 pm. Dinner and Overnight.

Day 4
Transfer back to Johannesburg (B)

This is the last day of your African Kruger budget safari.  This morning you have a choice between another morning game drive or a relaxing day at the lodge to enjoy the great facilities it offers.  Should you choose to stay at the lodge, you can enjoy a hearty cooked breakfast at the restaurant. If you join us on the morning safari, a picnic-style breakfast will be served at one of the picnic spots in the park. The morning game drive is entirely optional and at own account (payable at the lodge). It is a great way to spend your last morning on tour if you feel the need to see wild animals one last time. You will be picked up at the lodge (from reception) at about 11:00am for your return to Johannesburg with the shuttle. Comfort stops on the way. Drop off at Johannesburg O.R. Tambo Airport at around 5:30pm.

• Suitable for all physical fitness levels
• Please note: no hut/lodge accommodation is available at Kruger during the Skukuza Half Marathon, a yearly event that always takes place the first weekend of August. Camping accommodation is still available.
• We offer an optional excursion to visit select attractions along the Panorama Route at no extra charge and replaces your game drives for the day. You will enjoy breakfast in camp at 07h30, depart from camp at 08h15 and visit attractions such as the Blyde River Canyon, Three Rondavels, Lisbon Waterfalls and God’s Window. We stop in one of the small towns en-route for lunch (at your own expense). We will be back in camp between 17h00 and 18h00. This excursion, which will incur an extra charge, replaces your game drives for the day and will be co-ordinated by our staff while you are on safari with us. (Kindly note that this excursion is not available on the first or last day of your Safari due to time constrictions)
• Note: This optional excursion needs to be pre-booked. If you would like to opt into the Panorama Route activity, please let us know ahead of time.
• This itinerary is subject to change at anytime without prior notice depending on availability at the camps and parks.
• Children under the age of 6 are not allowed on the Day 1 Sunset drive. They are allowed on the morning and afternoon Outlook Safaris, however if they become loud or disruptive, they will be escorted back to camp with their parents and the guide.
