discover the life of local people by visiting different valleys of Toubkal National Park.

Experience the beauty and Berber villages of Morocco’s High Atlas Mountains on a two-day hike from Marrakech. Drive to the mountain town of Imlil, and spend two days hiking through lush valleys past gushing streams, pine trees, and cherry and walnut groves, and stopping at Berber hamlets to discover their culture. Return transfers from Marrakech, guided moderate-level hikes on each day, one-night guest house accommodation, and many meals included.

What to expect

Day 1: Departing Marrakech around 9 am to Imlil. After a welcome drink leaves Imlil behind and enjoys walking with the views of many Berber Villages and meet friendly local Berber people. After an hour walking, we stop for a glass of mint tea in a traditional Berber home with family. Continue the trek to Tizi n’ Tamatert (2300m). There will be lunch on the pass after Tizi n’ Tamatert before you head to Techdirt, the last village of Imanan valley, and spend the night in a guesthouse.

Day 2: The second day will bring you 5-6 hours of trekking and take you from Tachdiret to pass many of villages of Imnan valley, and cross the Aguersiwal pass (2100m). before you get to Aguersiwal for some lunch, then continue to Imlil where the trek will end and you will be transferred back to Marrakech.
