A roughly 45 minute drive out of the town of St. George’s through the scenic hilly interior of the Grand Etang Rain Forest Reserve takes you on to the Balthazar Estate. First stop, Annandale falls, here you will enjoy the serenity of water cascading over the rocks, simply revel in the beauty and sounds of the falls or you can spend time in the surrounding gardens where tropical flowers and trees flourish. Second stop, Grand Etang National Park. Here you’ll be guided through the beautiful rainforest to the world’s famous Grand Etang crater Lake which is 1,800 feet (550 m) above sea level and one of the two crater lakes on the Island. At the Balthazar river tubing launch site, after the safety briefing you will be provided with your life vest and a river tube. Wet, wild and wonderful, the guides will accompany you on the journey, gently spinning and swirling in the currents of the river, as you take in the exotic scenery of tropical vegetation and wildlife.

    Grand Etang Lake

    Grand Etang national Park is the place to be when planning your perfect Grenada getaway. As we travel through the mountains you’ll begin to get closer to the Island's Tropical interiors. At the Park you’ll get to learn about some of it’s beautiful plants and interact with its hospitable animals. You’ll be guided through the beautiful tropical `rainforest to the world’s famous Grand Etang crater Lake which is 1,800 feet (550 m) above sea level and one of the two crater lakes on the Island. At this point you’ll have a perfect view of mount Qua Qua, feed the lake's fishes and experience the peace of the water’s edge.
