The enchanting city of Como, on lake Lario, hides amazina art and architecture masterpieces together with sound and ancient traditions. Local kitchen, for example, merges land and seafood recipes, featuring "polenta" (a kind of corn cream, very popular in Northern Italy) and fresh fish, coming from the lakes.
This private experience will allow you to enter the authentic atmosphere of Italian cooking tradition, starting from the purchase of raw ingredients: you will walk through the charming city centre reaching a local market where you will get part of the ingredients needed for lunch.
After a private cooking class, held by a professional chef in a homely, cosy environment, you will taste together the outcome of your work.

What to expect

After a short transfer within the city, you will spend some time walking around the centre, until you'll reach a local open air market to buy some of the ingredients for the cooking class.
After, you'll reach a small and cosy facility where a professional chef and food blogger will guide you through the preparation on a full meal: first course, main course, dessert. After a rich aperitif you will have lunch together, tasting the specalties you will have prepared.
