    Archeological Park Visit of Archeological park We'll walk you, for about two hours, through the archeological site: the once biggest river port of the Roman Republic first and empire then, a walk that will show you the complexity of a commercial city founded by king "Anco Marzio" and flourished until the very last days of the Empire. Steps: Necropolis of Ostia Antica: monumental tombs and mausoleums Romana gate and Victory Square along the Decumanus Maximus Neptune Baths with majestic mosaics and great view from above. Roman Theatre, Corporation square and ARA of Romulus and Remus Forum baths, Forum, Capitoline Triad temple and Castrum Painted houses, Diana's house and the Thermopolium Silvano's Mills, the Guild of Pistores (bakers) and Firemen headquarters Cisiari's Baths and the Harbor's sidewalk

    Centro Storico di Ostia Antica

    Known as "the Borghetto": a charming medieval village, dating back to the 9th century a.D, with its perfectly preserved 15th century "Giulio II castle", built on a Michelangelo design, to help the papal state control the trading on the river Tevere and defend the farmers from the raids by the Saracens. Then we'll have an Italian GELATO just outside the medieval walls.
