Our tour guide will meet you at your hotel or location, (contact us for confirmation). Exposition regarding our Puerto Rican heritage, and live commentary and interpretation of your surroundings can be given in both English and Spanish throughout the journey. Once we arrive at the Rainforest, we will take a nature walk path (watch out for wet, uneven terrain) through the flora until reaching the river stream. Do not forget your towel and swimsuit! (Swimming is dependent on weather conditions) After this time, we head back to your lodgings.

    Catarata La Coca

    At an elevation of 1, 476 feet (450 meters) above sea level, La Coca Falls is a spectacular waterfall! The waters of La Coca Falls drop 85 feet (26 meters) onto a huge rock formation at the bottom of the falls. This is an excellent spot to take photos.

    Torre Yokahu

    This 69 foot tower was built by Dr. Frank H. Wadsworth (former Forest Supervisor and Director of IITF) in the early 1960’s. Four types of the forest can be viewed from Yokahú Tower: Colorado (smooth to the south), Tabonuco (irregular surrounding with white-leaved Yagrumos), Palm (on the steep slopes) and Cloud Forest (on the ridges) are all visible along with the coastline and all the way to the Virgin Islands on a clear day (10 mile + view). The dense old forest of the Baño de Oro Research Natural Area in the upper Mameyes Valley to the east may also be viewed.

    Luquillo Beach

    3:30pm to 5:30pm - Two hours at Luquillo Kioskos beach for lunch and relaxing before we head to the Bio Bay Night Kayaking Tour. There many varieties of kiosks and restaurants and after lunch you can enjoy the beach.

    Laguna Grande

    6:00pm - Bio Bay Night Kayaking Tour - After the kiosks will head to the Bio Bay Night Kayaking in Parque Pasivo Las Croabas In Fajardo Town. Where we are going to paddle towards Mangrove Forest and Laguna Grande Reserve, the tour last a 1 hour and a half and we provide all the equipment.
