Today, you step into local life on the slopes of Kilimanjaro. A gentle walk through farmland and forest leads you to the beautiful Materuni Waterfall, where you can feel the cool mist and take in the scenery. Later, you join a traditional Chagga coffee experience—roasting, grinding, and sharing stories over a fresh cup. It’s simple, authentic, and one of those moments that stays with you.
Today you experience the magic of Mount Kilimanjaro up close—with the flexibility to choose the route that suits your style. Option 1: Marangu Route (Forest Experience) Begin at the Marangu Gate and hike through lush rainforest filled with towering trees, birds, and playful colobus monkeys. This route is gentle and scenic, offering a classic introduction to Kilimanjaro’s lower slopes and ecosystem. Option 2: Shira Plateau Route (High-Altitude Experience) For a more dramatic landscape, drive up to the Shira Plateau on the western side of the mountain. From here, hike across open alpine terrain with sweeping views, volcanic formations, and a true sense of altitude—reaching up to around 3,800 meters. Whichever option you choose, your guide will set a comfortable pace, allowing you to fully enjoy the experience and take in the beauty of Africa’s highest peak before returning to your lodge.
After the hike, today is about slowing down. You visit Chemka Hot Springs, a hidden oasis with crystal-clear turquoise water surrounded by trees. Your first safari day begins differently—on foot. In Arusha National Park, you walk alongside an armed ranger, quietly approaching giraffes, zebras, and buffalo in a way that feels completely immersive. Later, you continue with a game drive, seeing the park from a wider perspective. It’s a gentle and unforgettable introduction to Tanzania’s wildlife.

Today you travel into the legendary Serengeti National Park. The landscape opens into endless plains, and your first game drive begins as you enter. Lions, giraffes, and herds of animals appear across the horizon. You are now in the heart of Africa’s most famous wildlife ecosystem. Overnight in Serengeti.
Today is about the Great Migration. Depending on the season, you may witness vast herds of wildebeest and zebras moving across the plains—thousands of animals traveling together in search of fresh grass. Predators are never far behind, and every moment feels alive with movement and tension. This is one of nature’s greatest spectacles.
Another full day in the Serengeti allows you to go deeper. You follow wildlife patterns, track predators, and explore different areas of the park. No two days are the same—each drive reveals something new. Optional: Hot air balloon safari at sunrise for a breathtaking aerial view.
You leave the Serengeti and descend into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater. This natural wonder is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including the Big Five. It’s one of the few places where you can see so much in a single day.
