Option 1 : Waterfalls+Coffee tour Begin your day with a convenient pickup from Arusha, Moshi, or nearby airports, followed by a scenic drive through rural landscapes to Materuni Village on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided walk through farmland and lush rainforest to the spectacular 80-meter Materuni Waterfall. Along the way, your guide will share insights into Chagga culture, traditional life, and local plants. After the hike, visit a local coffee farm for an interactive experience where you will learn how coffee is grown, roasted, and prepared using traditional methods. Enjoy freshly brewed coffee and a delicious local lunch in a peaceful village setting before returning comfortably to your hotel.

2Kikuletwa Hotsprings
Option 2 : Waterfalls+Coffee+Hot-springs For those who wish to extend the Waterfalls+Coffee experience, an optional visit to Kikuletwa (Chemka) Hot Springs offers a perfect moment of relaxation. Set in a tranquil oasis, you can swim in crystal-clear natural waters surrounded by lush vegetation, unwind beneath the shade of palm trees, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of one of Tanzania’s most refreshing hidden gems. This experience can be added during booking for a seamless extension of your day.

Option 3 - Maasai Village Visit As part of the journey, you may also pass through a Maasai village area (Ewang’ani), where guests can observe and gain a brief insight into Maasai way of life. This is a more settled and accessible community compared to remote Maasai villages, offering a light cultural introduction rather than a deep immersion. Some past feedback has reflected different expectations of this type of visit, and we’ve since made sure to present it clearly so guests understand it as a short, optional cultural stop—not the main focus of the tour. Please note that this stop is no longer included as a standard booking option; however, travelers may discuss with their guide on the day if they wish to make a brief stop.
