This tour is packed with history, cultural insights and great views. You will observe Vajdahunyad Castle, Buda Palace and Chain Bridge in details, and visit major transport hubs in Budapest. You will use public transport on your way through the city, as this is perfect way to navigate. Your guide will point out all the important highlights of Budapest. 2Vajdahunyad Castle
Revel in the magnificence of Vajdahunyad Castle (Vajdahunyadvar). Built in 1896 it is relatively new, but its decorations are copies of several iconic buildings from different parts of the Kingdom of Hungary. Castle looks like it was taken from a fairytale or Harry Potter book. It will definitely remind you of wizards, spells, potions and other magic stuff.

Then you will cross Margaret Bridge, which connects Buda and Pest across the Danube. Margaret Bridge is very beautiful and often seen on postcards and other souvenirs. It is also a perfect spot for photos, so keep your camera ready.

You will pass by Szent István körút, one of the busiest tram lines in the world, and then stop at Budapest Western Railway Station. It is important transport hub and the main meeting point of the city. There are a lot of shops, bars and restaurants.

On a boat trip along the Danube you will observe iconic city spots. You will not be able to take your eyes off of Buda Palace and Chain Bridge. Buda Castle is a magnificent complex, which consist of gothic churches. The castle is mesmerizing. It is impressive and beautiful during the day, gorgeous and romantic at night, perfect for photo ops at any time of the day.

Observe the Chain Bridge, which is a charming long bridge. The two triumphal arch-like pillars and iron chains look great. It is very photogenic, but also a perfect observation point. Long walks along the Danube will probably become your most favorite activity in Budapest.
