You tour will start on the Andrássy Avenue, UNESCO World Heritage Site, which provides scenic views on Neo-Renaissance buildings. Enjoy historic mansions, shops, theaters and what not. They you will head to the Heroes' Square, an important Budapest square with famous statue complex and Memorial Stone of Heroes.
Revel in the magnificence of Vajdahunyad Castle (Vajdahunyadvar). Built in 1896 it is relatively new, but its decorations are copies of several iconic buildings from different parts of the Kingdom of Hungary. Castle looks like it was taken from a fairytale or Harry Potter book. It will definitely remind you of wizards, spells, potions and other magic stuff.
The Heroes' Square is a home of several museums, including the Museum of Fine Arts, eclectic-Neoclassical building.
On the opposite side you can see Kunsthalle, which is a contemporary art museum.
You will pass by Varosligeti Ice Skating Rink, public ice rink, one of the oldest in Europe.
Your next stop is Jászai Mari tér. It is named after theater actor and a center of public transport and social life.
Then you will cross Margaret Bridge, which connects Buda and Pest across the Danube. Margaret Bridge is very beautiful and often seen on postcards and other souvenirs. It is also a perfect spot for photos, so keep your camera ready.
You will pass by Szent István körút, one of the busiest tram lines in the world, and then stop at Budapest Western Railway Station. It is important transport hub and the main meeting point of the city. There are a lot of shops, bars and restaurants.
You will stop at another important transport junction Deak Ferenc Square, and then head to Elizabeth Square, popular place for young locals.
Another major transport hub lies ahead, as you will stop at the Kalvin Square. Tram, bus, and trolleybus routes are serving this place. Next stop, Szent Gellert Square, is water-themed.
During your walk you will observe Gellert Hill, which provides the best panoramic view of Budapest. The top of Gellert Hill is crowned by the Hungarian Statue of Liberty.
You will also stop at the Liberty Bridge, one of Budapest's most beautiful bridges. Take a walk and enjoy the details and the view of Gellert Hill.

Buda Castle is a magnificent complex, which consist of gothic churches. The castle is mesmerizing. It is impressive and beautiful during the day, gorgeous and romantic at night, perfect for photo ops at any time of the day.
Observe the Chain Bridge, which is a charming long bridge. The two triumphal arch-like pillars and iron chains look great. It is very photogenic, but also a perfect observation point. Long walks along the Danube will probably become your most favorite activity in Budapest.
