    Café des Deux Moulins

    Make your way to the Café des Deux Moulins, the actual café where the heroine of Audrey Tautou worked as a waitress. It is situated on one of the most illustrious and busiest streets in the Montmartre district. An area of art and the cozy atmosphere of a small village. The café is named after two windmills that are still preserved near Montmartre.

    Head on over to Marché De La Butte, called Monsieur Collignon’s in the movie. This small food store was located nearby Amélie’s apartment. This was a go-to place for the heroine to shop and to stop by to listen to gossip and rumors.

    The oldest movie theater in Paris, named after the date it was founded (1928), was frequently on Amélie’s Friday night list. She would go there to see some good foreign movies. Sometimes they show Amélie movie, which is unusual as there is a scene of the main character watching a movie at Studio 28.

The bridge is famous for its love locks, where lovers would attach their locks while throwing the keys in the Seine river. Although in 2015, the local authorities removed the padlocks because of the extraordinary weight load on a bridge, causing damage.
