The adventure begins at Br. Begawan, Desa Melinggih Kelod, Payangan, Gianyar. Ayung Rafting offers a 12 km journey, lasting almost 2 hours on the river, featuring Class 2-3 rapids. It is perfectly safe for beginners, non-swimmers, and even children.
Along the river, you’ll encounter some obstacles and fascinating carvings on natural stone, depicting the epic stories of the Mahabharata and Ramayana. The route passes by several resorts with stunning views, and there’s a fun slide at the dam before completing the 12 km journey, making the 2-hour ride enjoyable and scenic.
