Take a Sam-Lor (Trishaw) ride along Thapae Road down though the Old City Walls and visit Phra Singh Temple, this temple contains marvelous examples of Lanna art style.

It is one of the most valuable ancient temples in the province. In the past, Wat Chaimongkol was once a Mon temple. It was built in the age of Tilokaraj. Its former name is Wat Maloe, or Maloeng, which mean the sunrise both. The main highlight of this temple is its Mon Chedi, which looks glorious and shiny with golden and white color.
