We will start at Largo do Carmo, where the Revolution of April 25, 1974 brought freedom to Portugal, after 41 years of long dictatorship. There you will know the most important part of the revolution story, which is told in the book that I wrote.
Walk right to the middle of Carmo Square (Largo do Carmo), in Chiado neighborhood. I’m waiting for you just beside the Carmo Fontain, located in the center of the square.
After meet the square where the Portuguese revolution take place in 1974, is time to enjoy the view from Santa Justa Elevator.
