We’ll meet at Chafariz das Moiras, the small stone fountain in Largo do Correio Mor, Alfama. It’s just a short walk from Santa Apolónia station. I’ll be there with my camera, ready to start the walk. Feel free to message if you need help finding the spot.

What to expect

Join a private photography walk through the heart of Alfama, Lisbon’s oldest and most iconic neighborhood. Over the course of three hours, your local photographer guide will lead you through a carefully planned route full of vibrant colors, winding alleys, historic trams, tiled façades, scenic viewpoints, and everyday Lisbon life.

You’ll receive personalized guidance based on your interests and experience level, whether you use a smartphone, DSLR, mirrorless, or film camera. We’ll pause frequently to help you compose shots, master natural light, and explore creative techniques for street, cultural, and architectural photography.

Expect to visit hidden courtyards, quiet alleys, and elevated miradouros (viewpoints) that offer panoramic cityscapes. When possible, we may also step briefly into local azulejo tile workshops for a glimpse of traditional craftsmanship. Along the way, we’ll discuss Lisbon’s visual storytelling opportunities and how to make your photos more intentional and expressive.

By the end of the walk, you’ll have captured a diverse portfolio of authentic Lisbon scenes and sharpened your photographic eye—with optional feedback to help you grow further.
