You might begin at Mahabandoola park, the golden heart of downtown surrounded by daily city life, a peaceful spot framed by City Hall and high court and other colonial buildings. Explore the charm of Bogalay Zay Street or Pansodan Street, where teashops, book stalls, and old buildings tell stories of Yangon’s past. If you like we can also hop on the Circular Train for a slow, scenic loop through neighborhoods most visitors never see. Stop by the Chauk Htat Gyi Reclining Buddha, one of Yangon’s most graceful and serene sights. Enjoy a local tea shop experience, where the city pauses over a sweet cup of milk tea. And if you’re still around by evening, 19th Street in Chinatown is perfect for beer, barbecue, and a friendly crowd.
