“4 days in Java” is a great adventure tour that will take you to the amazing Bromo and Semeru volcanoes, as well as the fantastic Kawah Ijen complex.
The journey starts at sea level and gradually brings you up to an altitude of 2,300 meters. During this trip, you will climb stunning active volcanoes, dance at the edge of the calderas and descend into the Kawah Ijen crater to witness its magical “blue flames”, a unique phenomenon, as well as the largest sulfur acid lake in the world. You will also be able to observe the daily lives of the sulfur mine workers within the crater.
Over 4 days and 3 nights, you will get acquainted with the local culture and have the chance to visit typical Javanese villages, see coffee plantations, try traditional local food and witness the incredible beauty of your surroundings.

What to expect
*At 1 am, our professional guide will lead you to the top of the crater Kawah Ijen volcano. 1h30 of ascent, one hour of those is quite intense. Then you will descend to the crater of the volcano, discover the nature's miracle - blue flames, and the sunrise under the biggest acid lake in the world, unforgettable moment… With a respirator that protects you from sulfuric vapors, you are at the heart of the crater which is a unique sensation!
So, you are in the crater which is also a "Sulfur mine" where the workers are exploiting the sulfur. You will witness the enormous courage of those men (miners and bearers) who live by the extraction of this sulfur (used for pharmacology and cosmetology).
After this magic moment we are back to the base camp, then, after about 20 minutes of a road, we will enjoy a local breakfast in a Javanese family.
