The village is geographically isolated, and a result, it offers a unique glimpse into rural life in northern part of Vietnam.

Once, it was famous with Gom Sanh (pottery without glaze fired with dry grass). Then the products here faced with compettion by products from other places in Vietnam and China as well.

Villagers of Tho Ha turned into making rice paper and raising pigs, and thus pottery job was gradually abandoned, coming to an end of traditional pottery produce.

A trip is a great chance to feel the peace out of bustling cities, to visit traditional Communal House, wooden old houses, learn of making of rice paper to how see rice paper is created.

You experience the daily life of people here by tasting a very normal, but unique local food here that you can find nowhere else in Vietnam.
