Enjoy a small-group Kuranda tour departing from Port Douglas or Palm Cove (not Cairns). Glide over ancient rainforest on the award-winning Skyrail Rainforest Cableway before arriving in Kuranda. We will meet you in Kuranda and transfer you to the village, where you’ll explore its vibrant arts and crafts markets, animal parks, cafes and restaurants, galleries and quirky shops. Then we help you board one of Australia’s most spectacular rail journeys, travel past waterfalls, through tunnels and great views. End your day with a signature cocktail (at own expense)in stunning Palm Cove, overlooking the palm-fringed beach, before returning to your accommodation in the late afternoon with great memories and new friends.

1Skyrail Rainforest Cableway
From 20 August to 24 October enjoy the Barron Falls loop from Kuranda. Due to maintenance the full Skyrail is not available. At Barron falls there are beautiful views, guided ranger walks and interpretive and historical displays to enjoy.

Enjoy the beautiful views over the Coral Sea, pass waterfalls and travel through the many tunnels on the Kuranda Scenic Train

3Kuranda Heritage Markets
wander the arts and crafts markets and time for lunch in one of the many cozy cafes. (at own expense)

- Due to the wet season and heavy rain possible from November to April Scenic train may not be operating, please check with the operator.

- Skyrail Cableway will be closed 25 to 31 May and 20 July to 18 August 2026 please book Train only
