This tour offers unique experience of visiting an original Balinese village, which is located in isolated location at the edge of Lake Batur. The trip will be started with morning pick up and we will drive to boat dock to cross the lake to discover Trunyan Village. The village is known of its pre-Hindu animist customs and a tradition of primitive ritual and ceremony unique in Bali. The inhabitants call themselves the ‘Bali Aga’ or ‘Original Balinese’. Here the dead are not cremated, but simply laid out in a ravine not far from the village of the mercy of nature and the elements. After take a tour in the village, we will cross back to boat dock, then drive to Batur Natural Hot Spring. Here you could indulge your self on the hot spring and enjoy the panoramic beauty of Lake Batur a little bit closer. We then continue to visit Penglipuran Village, another traditional village in Bali which is very thick with harmony and togetherness. And our last stop in this tour is Tibumana Waterfall.

Trunyan Village is one of place where the Bali Aga tribes live. In the village, there is a unique tradition: people who died were not buried but placed under the Taru Menyan Tree. Although the bodies were left in an open space, it didn’t emit a foul odor. It’s thanks to the existence of the Taru Menyan Tree, which is able to eliminate unpleasant odors.

4Tibumana Waterfall
Tibumana waterfall is a beautiful waterfall close to Ubud, located in the village of Apuan in Bangli Bali. The height of Tibumana waterfall is about 5 meters. During rainy season there will even be a second stream flowing down making Tibumana a twin fall! What makes this waterfall so unique is the perfect straight form of the water gushing down and because there is a kind of cave behind the waterfall.
